I am proud to say that I painted a portrait of Isidora Goyenechea. She was an incredible Chilean philanthropist, art patron, and innovator whose influence is still felt beyond her lifetime. When I began to think about how to capture both her pioneering spirit and elegance in a single portrait, I was overwhelmed with ideas. I quickly refined my vision and decided to keep the painting timeless with a traditional silhouette set against an exposed wood background. Everything came down to capturing the vivacious spirit she exuded in her pictures, yet also bringing out the delicate features that highlighted her beauty. I set to work on immortalizing Isidora's graceful form. What ultimately emerged is a beautiful tribute to Isidora Goyenechea—a reminder of her remarkable work and legacy. It truly feels amazing to look upon a piece that wholly expresses my admiration for this beautiful woman.
